What Actually Is Breathwork?

Conscious, intentional breathing that takes you out of your normal patterns.

Different styles - from gentle nervous system regulation to intense transformational practices. Some use circular breathing that builds energy. Others use rhythmic patterns that calm or activate.

Different facilitators bring different approaches. Your facilitator holds space for whatever comes up.

The common thread: you're using breath to access what talking can't reach.

Why Breathwork Works

You're holding stuff. Emotions you couldn't process when they happened. Tension your body stored. Trauma that got stuck.

Breathwork moves it. Not through talking about it - through breathing through it. Your body releases what it's ready to let go of.

It also retrains your nervous system. Most people breathe shallow - a stress pattern. Breathwork teaches your body different.

People come for anxiety, trauma, stuck emotions, or because they sense there's something deeper they need to access.

What to Expect

You'll lie down (sometimes move around) whilst your facilitator guides you through breathing patterns.

Some sessions are gentle. Others are intense - circular breathing that builds energy until something shifts.

You might feel tingling. Heat. Emotions rising. Physical sensations moving through you. All normal. Your facilitator holds space.

Some people cry. Some rage. Some laugh. Others stay quiet but feel massive shifts. There's no right way.

After, you'll feel different. Raw, maybe. Lighter, definitely. Like you've put something down.

Who Breathwork Is For

Anyone ready to go deeper.

If you're in acute mental health crisis, wait. If you're pregnant, stick to gentler practices. If you have certain medical conditions, check with your doctor first.

But if you're ready to work with what's stuck, breathwork is powerful.

All bodies who are ready welcome. No judgement.
