An invitation to an Alternative Friday Night with a twist...

We invite you to take a break from your normal Friday routine to join us and immerse yourself in an extraordinary Friday night experience with Dan, as we explore higher states of consciousness for the mind, body, and spirit.

Alternative Friday Night is a monthly event brought to you by Dan Dawson bringing together a number of conscious practises which change each month 🗓

The guided breathwork journey sequences will change each month, and we will be working through different themes; this may be to do with our belief systems or emotions.

July's theme is Self Love Shift. This evening is about softening the inner critic and shifting the way you relate to yourself. Through breath and reflection, we’ll move toward more acceptance, compassion, and self-respect.

Using a variety of breathing methods depending on the theme of the evening. This will be supported by uniquely chosen music to support the journey.

The intention of the evening is to let the breath and the music and the sound do the work - you just have to turn up and be guided.

The breath may bring emotions up for us or even bring tears of joy, the breathwork will be perfectly designed to prepare you for second element of our evening to clear our mind and create state of stillness.

There is no experience needed. Each breathing method will be explained and guided with best practice.

Journalling will be encouraged to really enhance the capabilities of release throughout the breathwork journey.

Please ensure to read the activity disclaimer before attending the session. If possible do not eat anything 90 mins before attending the session. The rest we will explain on the evening.

Join Laura for a deeply nourishing 90-minute Yin Yoga and Crystal Sound experience designed to calm the nervous system, release tension and invite profound relaxation.

Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice that targets the body's deeper connective tissues - your fascia, ligaments and joints - through gentle, long-held postures.

By remaining in each pose for approximately 4 minutes, you'll have the opportunity to soften physical holding patterns, improve mobility, and cultivate patience, presence, and inner awareness.

As you settle into stillness, the soothing vibrations of crystal singing bowls will accompany your practice, creating a calming soundscape that supports deeper relaxation and encourages you to fully surrender into each pose. The combination of yin and sound offers a powerful opportunity to quiet the mind, regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, and restore balance in both body and mind.

Suitable for all levels, this practice invites you to slow down, turn inward, and create space for rest, reflection, and renewal.
