Facial
This isn't just about skincare.
Your face holds tension. Your jaw. Your temples. Places you don't even realise you're clenching.
Facial massage releases that whilst improving circulation, drainage, and how your skin functions. You'll look better because you feel better.
What Actually Is a Facial?
Facial treatments here blend skincare with therapeutic massage. We're not a beauty salon - we're focused on the therapeutic benefits alongside the aesthetic ones.
Treatments include lymphatic drainage to reduce puffiness, facial massage to release jaw tension and TMJ issues, gua sha techniques that lift and sculpt, and targeted work on specific skin concerns.
Different therapists bring different specialisations. Some focus more on lymphatic work, others on tension release, some on skin health. Most blend all three.
The common thread: your face is treated as part of your whole body, not just something to make pretty. Though you will leave looking bloody good.
Sessions typically run 45-60 minutes.
Why Facial Work Helps
Your jaw is clenched. Your temples are tight. You hold stress in your face without realising it.
Facial massage releases that tension. Lymphatic drainage reduces puffiness and helps your skin function better. Regular treatments improve circulation, which means healthier skin, less tension, fewer headaches.
But it's not just physical. There's something deeply relaxing about having your face touched with skill and care. Most people drift off during facial work. It's as much nervous system regulation as skincare.
People come for TMJ pain, headaches, sinus issues, skin concerns, or just because they need their face to stop holding everything.
What to Expect
You'll lie down whilst your therapist works on your face, neck, and sometimes shoulders. They'll cleanse your skin, then use massage techniques suited to what you need.
Lymphatic drainage uses light, rhythmic touch to encourage fluid movement. Facial massage includes deeper work on jaw muscles and tension points. Gua sha or other tools might be used for sculpting and lifting.
Some techniques might feel intense - especially if your jaw is very tight or your sinuses are congested. But mostly it's deeply relaxing. Many people fall asleep.
After, your face will feel different. Looser. Your jaw less clenched. Your skin brighter from improved circulation. You might look slightly flushed - that's increased blood flow and will settle.
Drink water. Your lymphatic system has been stimulated and needs hydration to function.
Who Facial Treatments Are For
Anyone with a face that holds tension.
If you grind your teeth, clench your jaw, get tension headaches, or just carry stress in your face, this helps. If your skin is congested, puffy, or just not behaving, lymphatic work sorts that.
You don't need perfect skin or specific problems. Sometimes you just need your face to be properly looked after.
