I used to be a preacher. I stood up in front of people every week and told them I knew. I knew what the world was. I knew what God wanted. I knew where the lines were.

Then I left. And for years afterwards I didn't know anything, and that was its own kind of work. The pandemic landed in the middle of all that, and tarot turned up. I didn't go looking for it. I didn't believe in it. But it gave me something I needed when I had nothing else: language for what I was actually feeling, and permission to sit with questions instead of forcing them into answers.

That's the work I do now, in three forms: tarot, sound, meditation. It isn't a different flavour of certainty. It's the opposite of certainty. It's space for people to stop performing for a minute and meet themselves honestly.

I'm not going to predict your future. I don't believe in mystical-for-the-sake-of-it stuff and I'm not going to pretend to. Most of us are carrying something we haven't had room to look at, and there's real power in being held while you finally look.

At Transcend, I teach tarot courses, run community sound baths, and lead a meditation class. The format changes. What I'm actually doing doesn't.
