Discovering the Practice
After over twenty years of practising Yoga and Pilates, I discovered Kundalini Yoga—and it felt like coming home. I fell in love with its depth and power so completely that I trained as a teacher, and now it continues to be one of the most transformative parts of my journey.
How Kundalini Differs
People often ask me, “How is Kundalini different from other forms of yoga?” My answer is always: “You have to feel it.” It’s an experience like no other.
The Yoga of Awareness
What makes Kundalini Yoga so unique is the way it weaves together movement, breath, mantra, and meditation into one complete system. It’s often called the Yoga of Awareness—an ancient science and technology designed to open energy pathways, clear blockages, and bring balance to body, mind, and spirit. For me, it has been a way to reconnect to joy, love, light, and inner calm, even in the midst of life’s chaos.
What to Expect in Class
In class, we practice with eyes closed and our focus turned inward. Each session includes kriyas (sequences of breath, posture, and movement), with time for meditation and deep inner stillness after each one. The practice is accessible to everyone—whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been on the mat for decades.
Come as You Are
Some traditions encourage wearing white in Kundalini classes; I personally choose to teach and practice in colour. My only request is that you come as you are, in whatever helps you feel comfortable and free to move.
How You’ll Feel Afterwards
You can expect to leave class feeling:
- Energised
- Connected
- Aligned
- Expansive
A Practice That Transforms
Kundalini Yoga has supported me to clear, focus, energise, and reconnect with myself in ways no other practice has. It has given me tools to shift heavy energy and return to bliss, grace, and love.
Join Me on the Mat
If you’re curious, I warmly invite you to come and experience it for yourself. I teach in-person every Monday, 10–11 AM at Transcend Eccles, and you’re welcome to join me for a free taster class—because once you try it, you’ll understand why I say: when you pop, you can’t stop!
