Meet Harvey (He/Him)
Bringing Philosophy, Breath & Balance to Every Practice
Who is Harvey?
Yoga found me later in life, but once it did, there was no turning back. While volunteering at an art centre in Greece, I started practicing in my free time, and before I knew it, yoga became a central part of my life. At 67, I fully embraced the practice, proving to myself and others that age or flexibility are no barriers to growth.
I’ve trained extensively, completing over 300 hours of teacher training—including 200 hours in Rishikesh, India, and 100 hours in Thailand. My teaching focuses on Hatha yoga and alignment, with an emphasis on the philosophy and spiritual aspects of the practice. That said, I welcome everyone, whether they come for the physical benefits or something deeper. If a student walks in looking for exercise but walks out with a little more awareness, then that’s a step in the right direction.
I aim to create a relaxed, comfortable, and safe space where everyone can explore their practice in their own way. Whether leading classes in Manchester or retreats abroad, my goal is always the same—to guide people toward balance, breath, and self-discovery, wherever they are on their journey.
