Qi Gong

Slow movement, steady breath, and a quiet mind. Qi Gong meets you where you are and gently brings you back into balance.

It's not about flexibility or fitness. It's about energy — moving it, clearing it, and letting your body remember how to feel settled.

Come as you are. No experience needed.

Qi Gong

What Actually Is Qi Gong?

Qi Gong is a Chinese practice combining slow movement, breath, and focused awareness. The name means 'energy work' — and that's exactly what it is.

You'll move through simple, repeated sequences designed to open the joints, regulate the breath, and calm the nervous system. Each gesture is intentional. Nothing is rushed.

Some sessions are more meditative and still. Others are more active and flowing. Your teacher will guide you through what's right for the group.

Why Qi Gong Helps

Modern life keeps us tight, fast, and overstimulated. Qi Gong does the opposite. It slows you down enough for your body to catch up.

The gentle movements release tension that harder exercise can miss. The breathwork settles the mind. The focus on sensation brings you back into your body.

People often leave feeling grounded, lighter, and more spacious — like they've had a deep exhale they didn't know they needed.

What to Expect

You'll stand or sit in a circle and follow your teacher through a series of slow, flowing movements. Everything is done at a pace that feels manageable.

There may be moments of standing meditation, gentle shaking, or self-massage. The practice is simple and repetitive — that's part of the medicine.

Wear something you can move in. Bring water. And bring patience — the benefits build over time.

Who It's For

Qi Gong is for anyone who wants to feel more settled in their body. It's especially good if yoga feels too intense, meditation feels too still, or you're recovering from stress, burnout, or injury.

Older bodies welcome. Injured bodies welcome. Anxious bodies welcome. The practice adapts to you.

No experience needed. No flexibility required. Just a willingness to move slowly and breathe.
