Meditation
Your head is loud. The world is louder. Sometimes the most useful thing you can do is sit down and stop.
That's what meditation is. A few minutes of doing nothing, on purpose. Not to fix anything. Not to become anyone. Just to notice what's already here.
Come as you are. We've got you.

What Actually Is Meditation?
Sitting still. Paying attention. That's the foundation.
Some sessions are guided - someone talks you through it so you've got something to follow. Others are quiet - you sit with a teacher in the room and do the work yourself. Some weave in breath, body scans, or sound. All of them are about training the attention.
You don't have to clear your mind. You don't have to feel calm. You just have to keep showing up.
Why Meditation Helps
You can't switch off. You're running every conversation in your head three times. Sleep is patchy. You're reactive to small things.
Meditation helps with that. Not by magicking the stress away, but by giving you a few minutes a day where you're not feeding it. The reactivity softens. The space between something happening and you reacting gets a bit wider.
It's the unglamorous work. Same as yoga, same as therapy. Consistent practice, real change over time.
What to Expect
You'll sit. On a chair or a cushion, whatever's comfortable. The teacher will guide you through it - usually some breath, some attention to the body, some quiet time.
Most sessions are short. Twenty, thirty minutes. Long enough to do the work, short enough that it fits into a real life.
Bring yourself. Wear what you can sit comfortably in. That's it.
Who It's For
Everyone. Genuinely.
Never meditated before? Good. That's the easiest place to start. Tried it and "failed"? You didn't. You just thought meditation was supposed to feel different. It's not. Anxious mind? That's exactly why this helps.
No experience needed. No belief needed. Just a willingness to sit down for half an hour and see what happens.
All bodies welcome. No judgement.
