Transcend in the Community

Supporting Wellbeing Where It’s Needed Most

At Transcend, we believe that wellbeing shouldn’t be a luxury – it should be for everyone. That’s why we created Transcend in the Community CIC, our non-profit project that takes our classes and support into the wider Salford community, helping those who need it most.

Making Wellbeing Accessible

Through our CIC, we work with local wellbeing projects and GP surgeries to offer free or low-cost wellbeing classes to those who wouldn’t otherwise be able to access them.

These sessions support people struggling with their mental and physical health – giving them the tools to move, breathe, and reconnect with themselves in a safe, supportive environment.

The feedback we receive is powerful – people tell us time and time again that these classes have helped them feel better, build confidence, and start to reclaim their lives.

Powered by Cake (and Coffee)

Our Soul Tribe Kitchen café, right here at Transcend, is not-for-profit – with every slice of cake, coffee, or lunch you buy, you’re helping to fund our CIC.

This self-sustaining model means we can keep showing up for the people who need us, without always waiting for grants or funding. So every time you tuck into that delicious brownie – you’re making a difference.

(Go on, have another… it’s for a good cause.)

Community Meet-Ups at Transcend

Free events in our café to bring people together.

We host regular Community Meet-Ups in our café—free gatherings designed to create space for connection, conversation, and a sense of belonging. These meet-ups are a chance to chat, share, and just be in good company.

Whether you’re looking for new friends, a supportive space, or just a warm cuppa and a good conversation, our meet-ups are open to all.

Could This Help You?

If you’re in Salford and struggling to access wellbeing services, we may be able to help. Our sessions are often referred through local doctors and support services, but we can also signpost you to the right place if you’re not sure where to start.

Just get in touch, and we’ll do what we can to support you.
