Meet Clark (He/Him)

Creating Calm, Connection & Candlelit Stillness

Who is Clark?

Hi, I’m Clark. This class is a space to pause, breathe, and come back to yourself. We move through a structured yet gentle Sivananda sequence — ideal if you’re looking to wind down after work and reconnect to your breath, body, and sense of stillness. We practice by candlelight, and I’ll have a cup of tea waiting for you at the end. All levels are welcome.

I first trained as a yoga teacher with the Sivananda tradition in 2004, and later completed advanced training, trauma-sensitive yoga, and other certifications to help me better support others. I also hold a degree in Anthropology and Religion from Manchester University, where I focused on the history of modern yoga and the dynamics of spiritual abuse — something I care deeply about in my teaching and community-building.

Before all of this, I ran bingo halls. But like many people, I hit a point where I needed something more connected, more nourishing. That led me to create Insider Retreats – joyful, grounding wellbeing retreats – and Yoga Insider, an industry event for yoga teachers that offers support and solidarity.

My intention in every class is simple: to create a welcoming, safe space where you feel supported. I’ll guide you gently through the practice and offer hands-on adjustments if you’re comfortable, helping you deepen your experience without pressure.

If you’re looking for a midweek ritual that’s calming, supportive, and maybe a little magical, I’d love to see you there.
